Dancers CV

As a dancer and performer we all know our CV's look slightly different too the normal job application. I have attached mine to this blog, and I would love some constructive criticism on any ways I could improve it or something you would perhaps change. 

I am also in need for some new headshots as these are now very old! any recommendations would be really appreciated. Based up north but willing to travel.

If anyone would want me to do the same to their CV, just leave it linked below and I will be more than happy to help.

    hi hannah! great post- i think your cv looks good to me! succinct and only including necessary information! i would change the professional experience section so that each credit reads across on one line only, just for ease of someone quickly reading it! Best,

    Hi Hannah,
    I've used my C.V to help me define my practice too! I found it really helpful as it made me realise all the different experience I have, has shaped me to the person I am today and how I approach my professional Practice. I think your C.V looks great!

Creativity and Data Sources.  Tonight's zoom call was an interesting discussion to a view from all modules and everyone's inside thoughts of where they are up to with understanding their practice. One of the first discussion points that came up was, areas of learning. It was nice to think back and to see how far I have come throughout studying this course.  When I first started this course I remember not understanding what my areas of learning was or how to even start unpicking them.  The key way I did this was looking at my transferable skills and where I can take my creativity and performing arts skills into other areas of work, which could and would broaden my practice in the future. "Diagrams"

After a few weeks of trying to put together a solid idea of what I was going to do for my "diagram", after a short 1-1 with Helen today I finally feel like I have a set idea of what I want my outcome to be. I had three ideas in my head all very different, I had even started two of them. I was finding it really difficult to understand what was the "right" way to go about it. With the criteria being so wide and open, I felt a little out of depth with what was expected of us. I feel like the way I now look at my practise and what is significant to me presently is completely different to what it was like when I was in my training, and this is where I was struggling, In training I was influenced by the choreographers and dance styles I was studying as part of my criteria then, very influential people like Martha Graham, Cunningham, Fosse, and Fred Astaire.
