After a few weeks of trying to put together a solid idea of what I was going to do for my "diagram", after a short 1-1 with Helen today I finally feel like I have a set idea of what I want my outcome to be. I had three ideas in my head all very different, I had even started two of them. I was finding it really difficult to understand what was the "right" way to go about it. With the criteria being so wide and open, I felt a little out of depth with what was expected of us. I feel like the way I now look at my practise and what is significant to me presently is completely different to what it was like when I was in my training, and this is where I was struggling, In training I was influenced by the choreographers and dance styles I was studying as part of my criteria then, very influential people like Martha Graham, Cunningham, Fosse, and Fred Astaire. Now after taking a slightly different route down the showgirl style, rather than musical theatre. It got me thin

I created some mind maps through reflecting through my practise how I can relate to web 2.0 and the lenses. In addition I thought of transferable skills that I can take though my practise that will be of use in other work environments and practises. Hoping this will help myself and others when looking for reflective examples in my essays to come.

Through this skype discussing c ritical reflection and ethics I have now an understanding that it is a very important part of the BAPP course.  C ritical reflection is your own personal understanding of the specific situation of what is happening and how and why you respond in that current way, from e xperiences you have personally undertook in your practise and yourself as a practitioner. I really enjoyed this discussion as it gave me more of a insight of why and what I am doing in module one. Plus what I had to come in the course helping me understand a outcome. Giving me a chance to reflect on my work further. It also reassured me that even though at this current moment I almost felt frightened of not knowing what is to come that it is completely normal at this point in the course and that at throughout module 2 everything will start linking together, information given to me from the girls in the other two modules.
